FabScreen ("we", "us") provides a placement operating system for higher education institutions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from institutions, students, faculty and recruiters, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, work email, role and institution.
- Student data provided by the institution: academic records, documents, applications and placement outcomes.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and diagnostic logs.
- Communications you send us through demo requests, support tickets or email.
2. How we use information
We use information to deliver and improve the FabScreen platform, run placement drives on behalf of institutions, provide customer support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student data to train third-party AI models.
3. Data ownership and access
The institution owns its data. We act as a processor on the institution's behalf. Access to institution data is restricted to authorised FabScreen staff, protected by role-based access control and audit logs.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the institution, its authorised recruiters, and sub-processors that help us deliver the service (hosting, email, analytics). All sub-processors are bound by data protection obligations at least as strict as ours.
5. Security
We protect information using encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and regular security reviews. No system is fully immune, and we notify affected institutions of security incidents in line with applicable law.
6. Your choices
Students may access and update their profile through the platform. Institutions may export or delete data on request. Contact us at privacy@fabscreen.in for privacy queries.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated to institution administrators. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised policy.
